Commentator
In 2015 I won a place on the coveted BBC Kick Off Sports Journalism Programme after beating over two thousand applicants.
Not long after, I began commentating up and down the country for BBC Radio on a variety of EFL and National League Football Matches including a Playoff Final at the prestigious Wembley Stadium.
Following my experience in football I added other sports to my commentary arsenal (no pun intended), including; Motor Racing, Tennis and most recently Weightlifting at the 2022 Commonwealth Games Trials. Since 2023 I’ve been delighted to commentate for National League TV on their Live Streaming Service.

Get in Touch
Say hi and introduce yourself and your project. Details I particularly need to know include; The Sport, Teams involved, Date and Time of the Event, Locations, How long you want me for, Is the project Live or Pre Recorded.

Research
A commentator is only as good as his/her research and when it comes to me I always prefer to Over Prepare just incase the action requires some filler. This can take me several days so my quote will include research time.
pre match
I will arrive in good time with the required equipment and set up in the designated location within the Stadia. If a pre-match interview is required I will arrange with the team’s media representatives to conduct the interview. *A few considerations that should be made. Prior to the event you should have liaised with the Home team or Event Coordinator to ensure that they are aware of my attendance. You will also need to have arranged for a suitable place for me to park that is no more than 20 minutes walk from the Event Location.
The Event
The fun part. I will commentate on your match/event. I strongly encourage that you engage a summariser to join me (Where possible). Typically a summariser is someone with first hand knowledge of the sport. It always improves the commentary and adds a dimension that customers love and in recent times have come to expect as standard.
Post Match
I am available to offer post match services such as analysis of the event or conducting interviews with the players/managers involved with the sport. This raw audio can be directly sent to yourself or if there is no time demands I am happy to clean up the audio in my home studio and send it on to you at a later date.
